Meet the member: Huddle Digital
For the past six months, Bonded Warehouse has been home to a cohort of ambitious tech start-ups on the Exchange scheme. Among these is Huddle Digital, which has had the opportunity to grow and develop thanks to Enterprise City’s resources, its community of likeminded businesspeople and coaching from industry experts.
Huddle Digital is committed to helping businesses achieve their goals using digital technology. The business, which recently launched One YMCA’s new website, was started in 2015 when co-founders Tom Parson and Harry Potts decided to leave their jobs as developers at a digital agency to get more out of their work and give more to their clients. This led to Huddle Digital, a web agency to design and build bespoke, specialised web solutions.
Client services director, Tom Parson said: “Our overall mission is to make the web a better place. We support businesses through digital tech, whether that is refreshing a website to generate online leads or totally updating and transforming business processes and functions.
“We’ve now got a team of five, plus our external partners, so we are feeling strong going into 2021. With the support from Exchange, we have a much clearer idea of who we work with, how we deliver what we do and where we’re going.”
This year was a year of growth for the business, hiring two web developers into permanent roles. Exchange has given the team the opportunity to meet like-minded entrepreneurs, network, learn from other start-ups and introduce people into their own network.
Tom continued: “Since being part of Exchange, we have been able to develop our business. The facilities at Enterprise City are great, the community is friendly and helpful and the events, even in the circumstances, have been great.
“Lockdown gave us the chance to reflect on the last five years of the business – we parted ways with some clients and introduced new ones. We celebrate our sixth birthday on January 5, which is an exciting milestone, and we are looking forward to welcoming more new clients aboard and continuing to grow.”
