Enterprise City enhances Manchester’s new media appeal

Property Week recently reported that the Enterprise City cluster will have a transformative impact on Manchester’s media landscape. It cites BBC’s move from London to Salford in 2013 as a kick-starter for the city’s viability as a media hub.

Within the St. John’s masterplan, Enterprise City is the hub for modern industries leading Manchester’s tech, digital and creative future. This community is formed around a cluster of diverse buildings and spaces that define our inventory.

Once finished, St. John’s will include: 560,000 sq ft of workspace for the creative industries, 240,000 sq ft of retail, 320 hotel rooms, 13 acres of public realm and 2,500 homes.

The piece closes by announcing that work at Enterprise City is well underway, with the redevelopment of the Bonded Warehouse and The ABC Buildings due to complete in 2018.
